i make so much effort to insure the cross i wear is always around my neck

seems i an ill attired if it is missing from it’s place, i take it off before going to bed to keep from becoming tangled in my sleep

but from my actions yesterday i am obligated to see, the place the cross must also reside is here inside of me

it is one thing to profess a faith another to show it’s evidence in our life, from the protestations of the day before i realize what effort and action it is for me not to react…………………..no outward action requires a great deal of restraint and action within

so i make sure before i place the cross that it is adorned without and within, for if it is just a symbol i am trapped in my world of sin
