sit down for a spell and ease your mind

i can see you are dissatisfied with what is going down

sometimes just to acknowledge a change is coming

is enough to get off balance

i don’t do change for the sake of change anymore

there has to be a reason before i shuffle the cards

and i try not to stir the pot if my motive is just to shake things up

my life is divided into chapters and this one is to identify my intent

because the direction i might wish to go, may not be where i am sent

i profess to seek divine guidance, but spend little time listening for it

i think i am being invited to sit down and stop finding things that keep me busy but do little to enlarge Gods’ presence in my life
