i prayed today for a way out of the situation i’m in

and so with confidence i wait to see the path you clear

asking that you mark it plainly to leave no room for doubt

it is the direction you want me to take and i will follow your route

i realize it may not be the way that i would choose, but i made a commitment to give, my life to you
