i learned some time ago, that a helping hand can help someone stand but it shouldn’t carry their load

we can all use a little help every now and then but don’t as me to do for you what you need to do for yourself

dependence on Our Creator is one thing, dependence on man will get your in trouble every time

hey, even God says don’t ask me to do stuff you can do because you are tired, lazy or just don’t feel like it, which is most of us

i will pick you up or sit you down, dig the hole and help you fill it up, get down on my knees and pray with you

but don’t ask me to be your mule, the farm is down the road…………………………way down the road
