i may need a hand here and there

sometimes a little prod or push

but i will ask God up above, i won’t ask you

there may be a time when God will need a helping hand that wouldn’t be my first choice

i’ve notice we’re pretty close in the days the calendar has turned

you are looking for people to take care of you and i’m learning the difference between what can an cannot be done

i don’t think pride is a negative thing unless you give it control, but every man that i respect does for himself and the rest he learns to let go

we all have needs and time may require that we may sometimes need need a hand, and people will eagerly help if they feel we are doing the best we can

but i’m not looking for someone to take care of me and that’s the difference between you and i

you expect someone to carry you when you are still walking just fine
