i sense there is some confusion and it should be plain to see

i have one set of morals for you and a modified version for me

you see i have certain standards that you simply must meet

and of course i will try to do the same but after-all it’s me

you couldn’t expect me to hold myself to the same requirements as you

that would mean we are equal and that couldn’t be true

i have become accustomed to having my way and when others don’t follow my plan, i simply move away

perhaps that has something to do with why my friendships seem to have revolving doors

well if you aren’t going to follow directions whats the point anyway

so i’m hoping you’ll pay attention and start measuring up, my yardstick is very quick to alert me when someone is getting off track

meanwhile i do check myself from time to time, the things that bother me are probably the result of me trying so very hard to keep your butt in line

so you see the problem is, you don’t recognize my intelligence, that’s why your standards are different then mine because i’m a better at pretending and i’m a better liar
