it chases us everyday and it’s not going to go away

this is going to take some time but i want to come out from behind

this wall we have put in place to hide our shame and our disgrace

forgiveness takes a willingness to let things go and get on with it

but our issues changed our lives and sent us off looking for a place to hide

i found mine in the woods and you found yours pulling weeds in flower beds

so on a beautiful Sunday morning perhaps we could sit down and accept what we are, what we aren’t, what we did and what needs to be done
