always looking to tomorrow with minimal concern for today

that left many situations unresolved and much unfinished business

life has taught me that fear and lack of maturity ruled my life for far to long

one pushes away the concerns of today when all hope lies in tomorrow

the problem with that plan it cheats every woman and man that crosses your path

out of getting to know the real you, so you play the game until so much is left undone and unexplained

and eventually you get tired of recreating another ”you”

getting real is the most painful thing a con can ever do, but some follow through

start living in the land of today and recognize that all we could ever want or need is already here

we just have to have the discipline and strength to work for it
