and the same bridge leads you to me

we built it each day with patience and care

when we started it seemed a very long way from here to there

but i see you coming as we lay the last final planks

we decided to build it because we had respect for what each other thinks

and though we may never see eye to eye, i think we both know that we care enough

to try

so i encourage each of you to consider a bridge to embrace another who has something

to give
