today has enormous potential, like a potter with his clay

i can make a vessel or a plate to feed a friend

there is no way of telling the opportunities that will come my way

tomorrow may bring floods of tears………………….so i will stay in today

today will have its’ challenges and lessons to be learned, i have learned to embrace them

for they fashion my resolve, allowing me to accept them, i put the word ”like” away

i often have my hands full dealing with today

the future holds its’ promises and it trails that may take all the strength i have

but the future cannot hold me captive if i am living in today

so for me the plan is simple i keep the reins tightly on today, for if i do the best i can

i will always find a way
