My granddaughters name is CiCi, and she is an animal lover.

All animals……. frogs, snakes, cats, birds, dogs………………..and Jack.

Jack was a request from CiCi for her birthday and everyone thought it was a crazy idea, especially me.

Jack is a Bearded Dragon and we located one for sale and I went to Pick ”Jack” up.

Now I an not an ”all animals lover,” don’t care for snakes and wasn’t a big fan of reptiles, until ”Jack.”

I noticed something right away on the drive home, ”Jack” likes people……………..a lot.

So with misgivings I presented ”Jack” to CiCi and went through the party, voicing my concerns

on the drive home.

Thinking I had just pronounced ”Jacks” death sentence.

What do I know…………not much.

What happened was a little ”child of wonder” as i refer to her, became inseparable from her new friend.

” Jack” plays dress-up, has spa days, sunbathes, takes walks, swings and loves his buddy CiCi.

It causes me to rethink what I know about animals and their relationships with we humans.

They are smarter than we think, and I can’t wait to see the story continue to unfold.
