i take you with me wherever i go

because we are friends, we have shared many loads

at times i was lost but i knew where to go and, i have done the same for you

far away doesn’t matter, because thoughts of times together and shared struggles

unites us and always will

time changes us outwardly but not the connection we share

i choose my friends wisely and the impact and guidance they share is essential

to my productive and happy life

i am aware that real friendship will cost me something as well as you

i invest in people that have something i want, quality of life and serenity
