i used to ponder what my life would be like had i not made some of the decisions and taken some of the actions that i did

i got a visit from the ”cosmic banker ” one evening when i was struggling to fall asleep

he laughed,”i like to visit when people are in conflict with themselves, makes my medicine easier ti swallow”

i started to ask what …………………………the ………………………………..he was talking about when out of nowhere this monster in a suit and a bowler appeared next to him and gave me the eye

i held my peace

he continued, ” the thoughts you have recently entertained concerning your path have ruffled feathers of some in the accounting department and they asked me to pay you this visit”

”as a result of your previous actions you have a cosmic debt that is owed and we are ready for you to start your payments………………………………………you have been so self- absorbed and self-centered that it was obvious that you needed a reminder of how you have troubled people and caused many a disruption to others because of your one dimension, you”

”the reason you are constantly seeking relief stems from your lack of understanding about how this thing works……….you hurt a fair number of people, many of them are gone but you need to right those wrongs by helping others…………………….sorry but i can read you mind, and i can tell you that happiness will elude you until you have a paradigm shift from taker to giver, pay your debt”

he was gone

i stayed tormented and troubled until one day i decided to try something different

i looked for ways to help………………….they were everywhere

i started to feel better because i was doing better

i am a debtor, a happy debtor and i’m not looking to get even

i am grateful to the ”cosmic banker ” whom i now know was trying to teach me about gaining true wealth
