stretch a rope between two poles
make it taunt so it is not so hard to control
pretend the two points are the beginning and the end
and practice transversing it again and again
life isn’t so different as you stumble and fall
when you think you have it, you lose control
you measure your steps and shift your weight to steady the movement that your feet make
and you find your rhythm and you get into a flow
and that my friend is how a good life goes
