doing the right thing is a prerequisite for things going well

but it doesn’t mean they will

i laugh when i think of times i did the ”right ” thing and things were still a disaster

the joy of doing the right thing is being true to oneself……………………that’s it

if you expect more than that you are often disappointed

the progression is something like : i learn, i accept, i do and life is pretty good

the joys of a good life are more connected with intent than with outcome

if one is wise

do the right thing and expect nothing
