long enough
little spot on the chart, you barely got a start
when your world came to an end
you may never know that you had an impact on this world
and you never took a breath on your own
i saw your mothers face and there was the trace of a life that was gone
that crease that you left will always be there whenever i see her face
so it mattered and had nothing to do with the time you were on this plane
when you dropped from the sky i’m not sure you died just went to another place
perhaps there you will grow and others will know of your life, your trials and your mistakes
but from where we are you just left a scar and questions about a life that was taken away
we that have a faith have to believe it was in Gods’ plan and those who don’t are left with confusion and wringing of hands
not long, but long enough
