don’t kid yourself
there is a commonly held misconception that doing the right thing feels good
laughable at best…………………………
goes way beyond feeling…………..for as we have come to know feelings are often not factual
so if we are looking for elation or gratification from doing what is right we will often be disappointed
sometimes it takes time for things to align and that doesn’t happen overnight
peace will come as we learn to follow our heart instead of our head
because what we know pales compared to what we don’t know
perhaps that is the essence of wisdom:
not the gaining of knowledge but rather the awareness and acceptance of what there is yet to learn
do the right thing and the dividends will come
but don’t kid yourself……………..it doesn’t always initially feel good
