you are ushered to the stage for the last curtain call

are you happy to stand and wave to the hall

or are the seats empty and you are alone and feel small

either we took time along the way to befriend others and help when we could or it was all about ourselves and get out of our way

the show won’t last forever and it is wise to make friends

for in the end all we have are the things we gave away

balance your dreams with reality, live and be open to new things to see

what we are able to imagine is limited at best and our relationships with others fills in the rest
