in an effort to be more concise

whether i am drawing or writing a piece

time has not so gently reminded me

that what i leave out can be more important then what i put in

most good dishes start with recipes, an a little variance is okay by me

but my own experience has shown, to far from the path and you can’t find your way home

i need to leave room to invite you in, let you choose some of the colors and the size of the frames

for if i recant in infinite detail, it takes you there, but doesn’t encourage you to go any further

truth is you help write the piece and draw the lines

because in the end it’s how you see it and interpret it in your mind

what to put in……………………………what to leave out

that’s why artists can paint the same thing and it’s so different
