Christmas Day is closing, and it was a fine day indeed

not too much excitement and i didn’t hear a harsh word said

one would like to keep the enthusiasm going to each and everyday

and although this was a special occasion, everyday can be as well

for each rising of the sun gives me a chance to grow and to lend a hand to others

along the way as we go

from that way of thinking there is always the opportunity to see

things in a clearer light and what it means to me

i must be my own advocate not in outbursts or demands

but to let the world know i wish to participate and be of service where i can

sometimes we will be called to lead but more often not

but to follow others that are searching and offering to help others find their way

to their own peace and understanding, a special occasion everyday
