it may not be you nor me that turns a child around

it may be the son or cousin that sets the record straight

for it isn’t in our time or given to our minds

to decide when ears will hear and minds will open up

to what we both know to be true and right

a little one schooled in Gods’ love the same age and connected by love

may be given the words and the tone to share those treasures of

the blessing and confidence that only God can bestow

and from the mouth of babes the chain is strong and somehow continues to grow

but there is need for concern that someone would hinder their children from Gods’ love

so we shall pray that a door that has been closed, will learn that all God wants to do is love

i am not a good example of what a ” christian” should be

but i am learning more each day, God continues to work with me

thank-you for keeping the chain alive and it is strong indeed

a little one will thank his mom for giving him all he will ever need
