you didn’t think i would venture to make the trip in the snow

and given a different circumstance, i probably would have stayed at home

but it had been a while since i had come and the smile when they brought you in

make the trip worthwhile

it was part of the commitment when i said i would sponsor you 

and i knew because of the situation, it was going to be difficult at times

but that’s how we grow  and i hope someone would do it for me

i am paying back for what could have been and you are doing Gods’ work inside

we struggle together and we are moving in the right direction

always to the light

there is a reason for everything that happens in our lives

and we may never know the ”why” to all of it

that’s why we have to trust
