little child that i am at the age of 64

can get rattled over the smallest things

and wants to hide behind the door

then i remember that i have a way to face any fear i find

starts with me saying a prayer and admitting i need help

sometimes i fancy that sometime in the future i won’t have to have assistance

but it’s short-lived because i know the truth is i may come to ask sooner

but i will always need help

maybe that’s part of the human condition……………we need help

the best source for that help is God
