the old ones say

better to bend then to break and be blown away

for what good is it for you to have your say

if you are so rigid there is no room to move

then you are holding on to ideas that have you consumed

people intuitively know the difference between right and wrong

time will expose the truth, but that time can seem long

but if all the lessons we need to learn, were that easy

there would be few issues that would keep us from getting along
