i can be wrong and still have a good day

seeing a hole initially makes me afraid

but i have to look through it, it’s not going away

so reluctantly i start going over the facts………..honestly, and see what needs to be changed

i will look for the shortest route to take, to get what i want to go, taking whatever i want along the way

the problem with that approach is that it’s all about me

and from that limited perspective it’s difficult to really see

the easier softer way isn’t what i thought

it’s facing your problems and humbling yourself

because refusing to address things that are right in your face

causes more pain and many more mistakes

 

roll up your sleeves and start shoveling until you can see the problem
