we live in a get close world, where almost is good enough

how would you feel if the surgeon said we almost finished the operation

but something came up

either you do or you don’t

you either will or you won’t

but if you intend to settle for almost

do yourself a favor, and everyone else

don’t even start

when we settle for less than our best

we have failed the test

what we have done is created a mess

that will have to be addressed sooner than later

there is a new saying…………………….. the bank robber to another inmate

i almost got away but they found me anyway

and looking out their cells the inmates could see

him swaying in the breeze

a rope around his neck and you could here the other inmate say

he isn’t  almost dead, now is he

almost, the bane of our society
