stir your mind

some memories come back

some are lost in time

but is isn’t very long

before you realize

you can’t go back

no use to even try

much as you would like to reflect

the story never comes out right

bits and pieces come forth

but never in a straight line

to recall the past is fun sometimes

you will only remember your version
