get it straight

what you think is far less important than what you do

listen to your gut it keeps it straight

doesn’t have all distractions to complicate

so when you are hesitant on what to do

forget what thoughts are running through your mind

and listen to your gut

like to get to a place where i think all good thoughts

but for now i’m grateful the worse ones get tossed

and no matter what crazy thoughts are running through my mind

i set them aside and try to do what is kind

still have to admit, my mind lies
