because it was given to me

meant to be shared

so others can see

the simple truth is, if you want to be free

you have to have the light that’s inside of me

i got the light when i got out of the way

stopped pretending that i was okay

got down on my knees and started to pray

the light came in and showed me the way

the darkness scattered and the doors opened wide

no more secrets, nothing to hide

i would like to give it to you

but there are some things only you can do

you have to make a decision that you want a better life

you want to help people and do what’s right

all those things everyone says are cool

can’t hold a candle to being Gods’ tool
