this note won’t require any postage

because i’m writing it for myself

all the words have been spoken

i’ll keep it as a reminder of my limitations

 

waste of time trying to change someone

hard enough to change yourself

better to accept the person, if you can

or go onto someone else

 

if i thought i knew the answers, i’m not sure i would say

what’s the use in pretending, you wouldn’t listen anyway

i pray the road will be easy and then i realize i wasted a prayer

who am i kidding, hell is where you are going and nothing anyone can say

will make you care

we both have our problems, but i am doing something about mine, nothing left to say
