the great pastime not only in our country but in all countries, is assigning blame and shame

there are those who commit acts over and over and there is no resolution nor rehabilitation for them……………………..just a fact

but others, who for whatever reasons we deem their justifications adequate or not, seldom is their infraction pushed to the side remembered but not paraded in front of them forever

we are great administrators of punishment and poor administrators of forgiveness

i watch my granddaughters  play and they seldom avoid the opportunity to inform us of any infractions the other has perpetrated against them

i rarely hear them confront the other for resolution to the situation in favor of informing a higher authority to take over jurisdiction

i think their overriding desire is control

it would have to be more of an instinctual nature as they are too young to have witnessed instances to a degree that would form their reaction

control is a necessary ingredient in society……………………to a degree

the balance is the problem……………………………. where the position is proposed  that we should be able to do whatever we want as long as it doesn’t quote ” hurt anybody” is territory that perhaps only those qualified could determine

societies have rules, some rules are better than others, but sometimes even bad rules are better than none……………………………….. or rightly called chaos

i consider myself an artist………………………………….with no connotations denoting good or bad, talented or lame

i do what i do, write draw, paint, play music because i love it and to me that’s all that matters

if someone else enjoys it, great………………but that’s why i do it

this is the way i would like to live, confessing i am not there yet………………………………….i don’t care what you have done, i care what you do

it you have done bad things in the past,l as i have, don’t do them anymore and we will be fine

i don’t even need to know about them

but if you find it necessary to hurt other people, be a drain on society…………..get away from me

i have friends, me included, that don’t agree with everything that our government does and i say so

but i am not tearing other peoples stuff up, burning cars or destroying public property

i can disagree without having the unjustifiable need to destroy

the reality is most people aren’t labeled……………………………they label themselves
