i don’t always know how to explain things

and i’ve learned that sometimes it a waste of time to try

but some will know what i’m talking about

and some won’t go through that in their life

some of us look for shortcuts and we miss learning how to play the game

while others are doing their homework we are out dancing in the rain

now i’m not saying i took the wrong path

everyone has to find their own way

but at some point in time you have to reel in your line and ask yourself

”how come i’m not catching anything”

so you have to make a decision is this the way you want to live out your life

when a nose full of candy and a belly full of beer, isn’t keeping you warm at night

then i got scared and it hit me, ” if i was happy why am i in so much pain, and when i turned out the lights, said a prayer…………………… and decided to change

who’d ever thought that this bottom would be the start of the best u-turn in my life

now on my worst days i laugh at how i can say ” somehow it will work out right, somehow it will work out right”
