”me first” the children say but as we grow that should fade away

for if i am always at the head of the line, everything from that vantage point always looks fine

and that isn’t reality

when we get upset because others won’t follow our lead, or fulfill our needs, we attack and as we damage relationships and trust…………..we are oblivious

because number ”1” got their way and that’s all that matters

looking back i see a pattern and it isn’t pleasant to recall i have been there, but decided not to stay because ” me first ” is a sure-fire way to end up alone, and puzzled why everyone moved on and left you standing at the head of the line…………………………..by yourself

you are old enough and experienced enough to know that this is a very self-centered and selfish way to live

have it your way………………………………….always number ”1” is less than zero
