so you have appointed yourself to the bench

the power to help or the power to lynch

and sometimes we all could use a ”time out”

but brother we all need compassion from time to time

it took awhile for me to understand that the gift of love can only come from a strong hand

it’s not easy to put away your pain and forgive another and try to understand, because we want justice

justice is a slippery thing, often we seek revenge and not justice

justice is the restoration of things disrupted, how often can that take place

someone takes another’s life, do we take theirs………………………..

often the best we can get is suitable punishment for crimes committed, but seldom does that lead to restoration

you think you have the wisdom and knowledge to sit on the bench, i tried it and what i found is i wouldn’t want that responsibility

the jury is always out unless we bring it in
