i know they are there/one
i am not the little boy in the street that doesn’t have a crumb of bread to eat, that fights off the cold with cardboard and leaves, but i know he is out there
i am not the woman who sells her flesh to buy a drug that she injects, and for that one moment she remembers when she was free, but i know she is out there
i am not the teenager who doesn’t fit in, doesn’t feel comfortable in his skin, takes a knife and digs right in, somehow feeling the pain makes it go away, but i know he’s out there
i am not the young girl from the wrong side of the street, who actually is very pretty, that’s why she get teased, but because her clothes are old and out of style she is made fun of and called ”Gomer Pyle”, but i know she is out there
the message here is simple, we have all had our trails, the fact that we made it through them, gives us reason to smile, and no it isn’t possible to save everyone but maybe just maybe we could each save…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….one
