this boat is taking on water, but it doesn’t have me in a fix

i’ve tried to bale it out before but it just springs more leaks

i know i shouldn’t take it out but so often i forget, and find myself

once again in the middle of the lake wondering if i should just let her sink

jump in and start to swim

then i hear a voice, seems it is very close to me……………..
