i love to impose rules and laws as long as they don’t apply to me
i see right through your jaded attempt to get me to believe
but actually the problem is that i attempt to circumvent the true meaning of the text
by pointing out the pebbles and oblivious to the rocks
the book i say i base my life around can best be described as ”love”
and if what i wrap my head around doesn’t reflect it then i am off the mark, way off

see if you can get the vision
- a man stops his car because he sees an older man having a hard time changing his tire
he approaches the man and offers to assist and the gentleman welcomes his aid
he notices that the man has had an injury and one eye was gone and skin grafts covered it
as much as he tried, he found himself focused on his injury and not on the man
he got the tire changed and the man thanked him and offered to pay him and he refused payment
he shakes the man’s hand and walks to his car
- he knows he has missed it…………………….it wasn’t about the tire
- it was about the man and he didn’t really interact with him because his focus was in the wrong place
- he let his prejudices control the situation because he wouldn’t accept the man as he was
- the purpose of the incident was lost and he knew he missed something important that slipped by him because his focus was on the blemish and not the blessing
- he failed the test
- the man had only one eye, and he had two and yet he was blind
