funny how nothing to say said it all

was no use searching for words that would fit

so i offered no verbiage and just bit my lip

to offer my opinion would have been a waste of time

no use talking to a made up mind

but instead of helping to get things to calm down

you were agitated that i wouldn’t go another round

so as you continued to rant and rave, i was grateful to you

you said everything i wanted to say

so in essence the battle was won, by stepping aside and watching

you burn
