i walked it and was careful with my words

i knew it was there and used it for my guide

i said what i wanted to say and there was no aftermath

because my message was clear and not cluttered with ”perhaps”

a man can say what he needs to say as long as he is aware of the line he has laid

so i was honest with myself and someone else and we stared down our demons and walked away proud

a man must take into consideration the repercussions of his actions and his words

otherwise he is a child attempting to handle the affairs of an adult

walk the line and be a man and don’t cross it
