the guy in my corner is always there

watching me bob and weave

points out when i am leaving myself open and reminds me to move my feet

i don’t get hit as often as i used to because i listen to the guy in the corner and i mix it up so it’s hard for my opponent to establish a pattern

i throw a lot fewer punches and save my strength and they are much more accurate thanks to the advice of the guy in my corner

he taught me to watch the center and direct my punches to that point because that will be the last to move

i win most of my matches now because of his knowledge and only get into trouble when i strike out on my own

usually after i get tagged and my emotions override my training

i can get back on track quickly and if i don’t i suffer the consequences

that guy came into my training camp and just watched

asked if i would consider a few suggestions and i said i would listen

they worked and i felt He knew the game well and He has been there ever since

everyone needs a guy in their corner, you better have one and you better listen
