almost missed discovering myself

you know the part that you save for a few and yourself

where you are totally honest and you can accept where you are

and i recognize that i have much to learn and have a long way to go, but i give myself credit for coming this far

i am not afraid to admit that i lack some of the skills that would round me out, but i got over judging because i always came up short and me judging me is like pretending to be someone else

i can sit alone and be at ease knowing i am honestly trying to be the best me i can be……………..that is progress
