they say time will tell, well she’s talking

so i thought i would sit a spell and let her have her say

said i had some things i need to work on, but she was glad to see a change

from always thinking someone is out to get me, to how i could fit into the game, try to bring something positive into wherever i am

these conversations happen ever so often and i take stock of where i am headed and who i am

if i  find things i don’t like that keep me from being a better man, i grab someone and ask for help getting the splinter out of my head

time does tell and if she’s talking pay attention to the signs, might save your from a detour that to turn around might take a long time
