i met these guys along this road who were looking for things just like me

to feel comfortable in my skin and not afraid for others to see the real me

to get honest with myself and realize there is much that needs to be done

and recognizing we can help each other as we walk along this road

now i am not the leader of this procession just another pilgrim who got stuck

trying to figure out what was missing, until i finally just stopped

so i gave up and surrendered it wasn’t all that hard to do, because i wasn’t going anywhere and i didn’t have much left to lose

that act opened up a pathway that my ”guardian spirit” could come in, set up shop and plainly said ”sit down, this is where we begin”

so brothers we walk together down a road that leads to light, and a life with purpose and meaning and all we had to do was give up the ”fight”

lets take that walk
