walk with me down this road, tell me what you see

i know you been here before and some of this is new to me

you told me that you had lost your way, where was it you got confused

maybe you could help me avoid the detour that you took

so maybe that’s why we are walking down this road, others say it the only way to reach where we want to go

there may be something i will see that will keep us from getting lost, or something you might say to make sure our bearings haven’t got crossed

either way we are here and i am glad we came to find the way that will take us from delusion to honest and open minds

we both have fallen and strayed from the path and we have lost our way

perhaps the secret lies in joining in a common goal to face the demons we try to hide

walk with me and together we will find serenity and peace in sobriety
