no matter how much i study, no matter how much i pray

that tendency to react unkind never goes away

yeah i know i’m only human, but that excuse does little for me

i loathe saying i’m sorry over things that didn’t have to turn out that way

way past blaming others, they are going to do what they will do

but if i’m not willing to accept things as they are, trouble is bound to ensue

has nothing to do with like…………………………has everything to do with reality

whether i personally like or dislike something doesn’t change a thing and if i am going to let that govern my emotions i’m in for a rude awakening

i do not control others, challenged to control myself

so i am painfully aware at this moment i am enlightened as a match

and there isn’t much light there

it never goes away………………………..at least so far

there is always hope or there would be no motivation to seek
