few

the dictionary defines few as not many,……………..pause

it doesn’t say not enough

everything in the physical and mental worlds has a weight attached to it, in terms of possessions and thoughts

ideally we physically own what we need, everything else to a degree is a burden…..they may give us pleasure occasionally, the rest of the time we care for them, they don’t take care of us

often i think the weight of ones thoughts are more cumbersome than the physical stuff, at least to me

i find the unadorned beauty of simplicity is extremely attractive to me

stripped down to the bare essentials gives me a feeling of awareness and appreciation without dealing with camouflage………………or stuff that hides and gets in the way

a beautiful song isn’t wordy

a beautiful woman doesn’t need face putty, for their beauty comes from within

a beautiful day doesn’t need my attachments

a beautiful life is loose, not tight, soft not hard, unfolding not erupting

these things come with freedom we wean from appreciating what we are, what we are not, where we are headed, where we have been, what we are writing in our book of life and what we choose to leave out

a good and purposeful life is not the sum of what we experience…………………………….it is the sum of what we learn from those experiences and what we understand

living life with the goal of cramming as much into the slot of time we have been allotted is akin to reading a book in a language one doesn’t know or understand

less is more
