that’s it, it is that simple

i have a lot of interests, verse, art, music………………………….but if you want to excel to the highest level……………………….you have to pick one and be totally focused on that thing

i wasn’t willing to do that, maybe the discipline required, the work, the singleness of purpose………………………….all of which played a part

i don’t know very many people who are considered experts or professional in more than one field……………………….there are some but not many

a person like myself would be forced to stifle themselves in certain areas in favor of the one

reminds me of stone crabs, they are my favorite seafood…………..they are like little lobster tails, but their meat in the claws

they are caught and one claw is removed so that the other must do all the work, becoming much bigger and stronger and the process is repeated several times

so that’s what one must do……………….choose to be extremely succesful in one area or good in several
