there is one thing that i can count on………………………..sounds kind of lonely doesn’t it

not at all

the one thing i can count on is God

i can’t count on our government, my mental capabilities, my banking account, the stock market, my 401k, not even my friends, or family

but i know i can count on God

i have been a poor investment, i have discarded morals as fast as i could form them, robbed, cheated and swindled, and i came from a pretty good family……………….i guess all genes don’t transfer

but i have never felt abandoned by God, but i have certainly tried to distance myself from Him

one thing, through thick and thin, through rain and snow, through ups and unconsciousness………………………and that one thing is more than enough…………………………………………………………………………………………………….. it is a tremendous thing to have God in your back pocket…………………………………….nothing, nothing can even come close to His kindness and unwavering commitment to see me through this world

so if nothing else comes my way, if everything changes or pretty much stays the same………………….doesn’t matter

the ”one thing” i cannot do without, cannot be substituted nor replaced………..is God

i have God and He has me………………………………….relatively easy to see who got the better deal
