the mistake we often make is to offer more than is necessary and it leads to ”maybe”, ”we’ll see”, ”if I can”

you needn’t feel bad about it or disappointing, ” you would if you could but you can’t”…..the end

if you respect me that is enough, if you don’t go away, far away

I am now empowered to defend myself against unwanted commitments that aren’t necessary or fulfilling

I’m not saying i don’t do things I’m not crazy about to accommodate family and friends to a degree but don’t push it, if i say ”no”, I mean ”no” and if that isn’t acceptable then you go
