place myself in the corner by the window sill

and I gaze out at the meadow at the slow rolling hills

I needed to change direction, my flight wasn’t going well

so i landed in this corner. deciding to sit for a spell

no one to be angry with, no one else to blame, I am where I am………………….. because I went the wrong way

I stopped before an accident, I was headed towards a storm and I was bringing it with me and no one has been warned

so I turned this flight around and landed in this spot, taking this time to figure out who I am, and whom I’m not

so no one was injured although the flight was delayed and I will notify the authorities that plans have been changed

and when the instruments have been adjusted and the flight recorder changed, then I will resume my trip again……..

when I have changed what needs to be changed…………………..my altitude and my attitude
